Planta Floresta is an non-profit organization based in Portugal that regenerates ecosystems through the principles of Syntropic Agriculture – Agroforestry.

Our cause is the environment. Long terms habits are fast degrading our planet. They must change in order to keep our species.

Our vision is to create a sustainable and harmonious world where communities coexist within thriving ecosystems, and our food and resources are sustainably produced, fostering abundance, diversity, and resilience.

We believe on Ernst Götsch’s work. Agroecology is about deep knowledge on nature processes, not about inputs, techniques or recipes.

We believe that many people on small scale local production could be a better way (better quality and more sustainable) than few people on big intensive productions.

Our job for now is to make people’s life easier going into regenerative practices through our developed models. So we can soon be making a local revolution together.

We’re commited to reach more people with important knowledge regarding the planet where we live. We research resilient and regenerative models and share it through events so others can inspire and learn.

We want to bring forests back in order to produce high quality food in a sustainable way. So we give priority and focus on REFORESTATION

Many people are struggling to establish new trees (and maintain older plantations) with these extreme weather conditions, lack of water and degraded soils.
